Breathwork Changed My Life

As we walk along our personal paths on this earth we learn to disconnect from our sensations and from our breath. It is completely unintentional, mostly as result of daily stress, environmental circumstances, or even older stresses experienced from our primary caregivers as we grew up. We all experience these stressors as limiting patterns in our breath. These limiting patterns reduce our capacity to receive life force or prana. Sometimes the patterns even limit our capacities to love. If these patterns are left unchecked, they even create issues in our physical body.

With a breathwork practice we are able to intentionally direct the life force and prana to resolve unprocessed emotions from the body. As a result many times you will fully experience the sacredness of anger, laughter, tears, fear, because every emotion will be welcomed.

As we move into healthy sensations and emotions, we allow the body to receive a greater sense of safety. A trust develops to move into the world with a sense of ease that will manifest in everything that we do and everything that we are. We will open a flood of creativity and contentment. We will begin to trust life even when sometimes life feels scary. We will begin to understand that we have the resources in our emotional body to handle our challenges with ease, with grace and most importantly with breathe.

As we become a fuller expression of ourselves we start creating positive ripple effect that will manifest in different areas of our lives.

BUT HOW DOES IT WORK?

Breathwork moves stuck emotions by tapping into our limbic brain – our emotional center – where we feel, process, and release our emotions and very old hurts. The deeper we get into the breath, the more our conscious brain takes a backseat to the wisdom of our body. We start to release trapped energy and even trauma from the body, often through physical sensations such as vibrating or slight shaking of the body. Sometimes we can even have slightly psychedelic experiences in breathwork, all without the use of any substances! Our own energy and breath to do all the work

Because our conscious brain is taking a break, messages from our highest self, from past loved ones, and from the divine often come through loud and clear during breathwork. Personally, some of my most intuitive hits have happened during my own breathwork practice. Part of the practice is that we get a deep, restorative passive rest period so that our brains can "turn back on" to begin to ground ourselves back into our bodies.

HOW BREATHWORK CAN MEET YOU WHERE YOU ARE:

Wether you are raising children, working full time, going to school full time, facing a debilitating illness, going through a divorce, grieving the death of a family member, experiencing a brake up or transition, unpacking old trauma, breathwork can help you move forward.

Sometimes we create a story, or an armor around us so we don’t have to feel any pain or discomfort. We tell ourselves that we are tough and that everything is going to be ok without going through the healthy steps of healing whatever pains you. That pattern then leads to all of our stress being bottled up in our cells. Then, consistently, suffering comes bubbling up. It can be so powerful and humbling to ask for support. Using supporting practices like breathwork you can receive incredible connection with yourself and with others.

Private 1:1

You get my undivided attention, to talk about where you are and areas of your life that might need alignment and attunement. Breathwork is an active meditation that, I like to say, is great for people who can’t meditate—which is most people, or that have done years and years of talking therapy and are ready to shake the issues from their tissues. I remember vividly my first time breathing I felt like I had a 5 years worth of therapy in just one session.

One-on-one work is great when you:

  • Thrive with personal attention and thoughtful reflection

  • Need extra support with emotional labor/processing

  • Struggle committing to a breathwork practice of your own

Couples Breathwork

This breathwork is a labor of love, we will dive deep into 4 sessions together, this is a virtual experience from the comfort of your own home. I will guide you step by step as you take your relationship to the next level, by transcending and transforming old wounds, grief, trauma, finding a deeper level of intimacy and pleasure. Process undigested emotions, and as a result generating genuine and deeper connection, joy, peace. You might also experience the capacity to brake free from old patterns and complete up level of the relationship.

Groups Events

A group setting can be a powerful tool whether you are breathing in person or in a virtual setting, one of the reasons I fall in love with breathwork so hard, is because not only it was a huge reminder that the healing and the answers that I have been longing for and looking for outside of myself are within in me, and I just need to use the most basic too to find them… AKA the breathe!! But also was a reminder that we are all in this together, in this human experience and are constantly creating a ripple effect, so the most beautiful and caring thing we can do is heal ourselves and become the highest supreme versions of ourselves, and give others permission to do the same.

Breathing is life. We do it all day, every day. But we tend to forget to do it when we need it the most. Fear, stress, anxiety, worry even excitement can trigger our reptilian brain in us to stop breathing. Breathwork is the practice of being still and breathing in a continuous, circular manner. During this ceremony, you will use your own breath to do the healing. It is common for some to transcend consciousness and for others to experience other worldly experiences. Each person is different, but the exercise of using this technique can bring tremendous amounts of healing. I will lead the ceremony and hold space for you throughout.

Each ceremony begins with an introduction to the technique. There will be music, as well as sound healing going on while you breath.
